Easy Ways to Market Your Business

If you want to market your business to the best of your ability, then you need to try and think outside the box. Hone in on your target market. If you try and target everyone then you might not end up getting the solid customer base you’re looking for.

Here are a few easy ways to market your business even if you don’t have a huge budget.

Use Social Media

Utilize social media channels like Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Twitter, and  Facebook. Each of these is all unique in their own right and they require a certain approach as well.

Choose a few that really appeal to you and try not to master everything at once. Focus on consistent and quality content on where your audience is, and then branch out to other platforms as you get more comfortable.

Create Content that is Valuable

Your customers love great content, and so does Google. At the end of the day, there are so many ways that you can share information. Some of them range from creating videos to hosting podcasts and even designing infographics. When you do things like this, you can then gain authority as an expert and you can also capitalize on traffic more too. Consistent blogging is also incredibly helpful to boost your brand authority and boost your SEO.

Contests and Giveaways

Everyone loves a good contest or a giveaway. A lot of businesses try and avoid things like this because they don’t understand the return on their investment. This is not the case at all, and there are plenty of ways that you can really benefit. One way would be for you to offer a voucher or discount code for your service. When creating a contest, it helps to engage your customers as much as possible. Crosswords or even word searches are fantastic here, as they generate interest and engagement. WordMint is a great source if you’d like to pursue this further.

Send out a Newsletter

Sending an email newsletter is also an inexpensive way to engage customers. When you do, you will be able to remind your customers of who you are, and you can also encourage them to buy from you. The best thing about newsletters is that you can create them yourself and use your database to gather your customer data. If you are planning on sending out email newsletters, then make sure to track your results! If you don’t then you may end up putting effort into something that just isn’t working for you.

  • Sorry not sorry for more engagement photo spam. Blogged a bunch more over on ChloeAnagnos.com 💕#linkinbio
  • According to a study by H&R Block, 66 percent of millennials have no idea when taxes are due. (Hint: April 15!) ⠀
⠀
Preparing taxes is overwhelming, annoying, and just downright stressful, but I’ve learned some tips and tricks that help me make sure I’m not paying one cent more than necessary.⠀
⠀
I wrote, "Get Independent: Tax Filing Tips for Millennials," for @affnetwork two years ago, but it's still as relevant as ever this tax season. Read more at the #linkinbio ⠀

So...who's filed already? 🤪

  • I couldn’t come up with a concept for our engagement photos at all. Clothes, colors, location, nothing. Kyle came up with this Old Hollywood/Gatsby vision that is completely *us* and I love it. Thank you so much, Tessa for making it all come to life! ✨✨✨

  • Colombia, you are perfect.
  • 12/10 recommend renting out a house with a group of Americans, Colombians, and French people you recently met in the countryside
  • 🇨🇴 Jump in that water be free, come south of the border with me 🇨🇴
  • Climb to the top was worth it (mainly for the views and the ice cream) 🌎
  • Here’s a #TravelTuesday tip: GET ✈️ ENOUGH ✈️ SLEEP ✈️! I can sleep on planes, trains, automobiles, and have even slept through tornadoes and one Earth quake. (And through a riot in the occupied part of Israel...😬) When changing time zones, adjust as quickly as you can. A 5+ hour difference may not seem like a big deal, but it can catch up to you quickly if you’re not used to it. 😴
  • You're engaged! Congratulations! So...now what? ⠀
⠀
The first few days (or weeks) can feel totally overwhelming, but they don't have to be. I asked Kyle for his advice for folks who are newly engaged and they lined up EXACTLY with my list. (Read them all on my blog #linkinbio)

What advice would you give to newly engaged couples? ❤️💍#WeddingWednesday
  • According to a 2015 survey, only 29% of Americans have ever been abroad. 29%!!! ⠀
⠀
Europeans are lucky – most countries there are about the size of our individual states and public transportation and quick flights make weekend trips such a breeze. Although the U.S. is HUGE, there is a lot more of this world to see. ⠀

Is one of your New Year's Resolutions to get your passport? Visit a new country? A new continent? ⠀

Take my advice: pick a location, buy the ticket, and just GO. 🌎✈️
